One Star Group was engaged to deliver the painting works for Calypso, a multi-residential development in Dickson, ACT, developed by Art Group and constructed by Bloc.

Located approximately 2.5km from the Canberra CBD, Calypso is positioned within the Northbourne Avenue precinct and has been designed to promote a connected, community-focused lifestyle. The development features a collection of contemporary apartments supported by shared amenities including communal gardens, rooftop spaces, a gym, and flexible workspaces, creating an integrated living environment for residents.

Architecturally, the project is defined by three distinctive façades, each carefully composed with considered material selections to create a dynamic streetscape and a strong visual identity. Internally, the design emphasises natural light, high ceilings, and open circulation, encouraging both functionality and a sense of openness throughout the building.

Our team delivered a comprehensive painting scope across internal and external areas, ensuring a consistent and high-quality finish aligned with the project’s architectural intent. Particular attention was given to surface preparation, coating systems, and detailing across varied substrates to achieve both durability and a refined aesthetic outcome.
